A SURFACE TROUGH across SULU ARCHIPELAGO & SOUTHERN MINDANAO is bringing partly to mostly cloudy periods with light to at times moderate rain showers or thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the EASTERLY TRADE WIND (EASTERLIES) prevails along the Eastern shores of LUZON, BICOL REGION; VISAYAS & NORTHERN MINDANAO bringing some clouds in between sunshine  and rain showers or thunderstorms.

The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with the possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms later in the afternoon or evening.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
