Surge of the NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies, slightly cooler conditions with occasional isolated to scattered rain showers or thunderstorms across EXTREME NORTHERN AND NORTHERN LUZON. Fresh to strong breeze of 35 to 50 km/hr will blow, making the seas moderate to rough (2.0 to 4.0 meters) and risky to small and medium types of sea vessels.
NORTHEASTERLIES (Northeasterly Surface Windflow/Weak Amihan) will bring clear to mostly cloudy skies, gentle to moderate breeze with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over BICOL REGION, SOUTHERN QUEZON, ROMBLON, PALAWAN, VISAYAS, SULU ARCHIPELAGO, NORTHERN AND EASTERN MINDANAO including ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE.
THE REST OF THE COUNTRY will be clear to mostly cloudy skies, with isolated to scattered rain showers or thunderstorms in some areas.
Important note: In the infrared (IR) satellite image shown above: BLUE areas indicate Clear Skies with a Few Clouds; GREEN = Partly to Mostly Cloudy Skies; YELLOW = Mostly Cloudy to Hazy Skies with Possible Slight-to-Moderate Rainfall; and RED = Thunderstorms with Moderate to Heavy to sometimes Extreme Rainfall.
