WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 12pm Mar 17 until 12pm Mar 18, 2019

Surge of the NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies, slightly cooler conditions with occasionally scattered rain showers or thunderstorms across EXTREME NORTHERN AND NORTHERN LUZON. Fresh to strong breeze of 35 to 50 km/hr will blow, making the seas moderate to rough (2.0 to 4.0 meters) and risky to small and medium types of sea vessels.

NORTHEASTERLIES (Northeasterly Surface Windflow/Weak Amihan) will bring clear to cloudy skies, gentle to moderate breeze with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over BICOL REGION, VISAYAS, SULU ARCHIPELAGO, PALAWAN, NORTHERN AND EASTERN MINDANAO.

Meanwhile, TROPICAL DEPRESSION 03W (CHEDENG) has entered the southeastern border of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) as it tracks west towards Eastern Mindanao. At 10:30 AM today, March 17, the center was located about 965 km East of Davao City, Davao Del Sur (7.2°N lat 134.2°E lon),  with maximum sustained winds of 45 km/hr near the center, gusting up to 65 km/hr.
