A NEAR-EQUATORIAL TROUGH is bringing partly to mostly cloudy periods across SOUTHERN PALAWAN, SULU SEA, SULU ARCHIPELAGO, WESTERN and SOUTHERN MINDANAO with light to at times moderate rain showers and thunderstorms.
The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will stay fine and dry with some cloud cover and the possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms developing later.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms within the mentioned weather systems.
