A WEAK LOW PRESSURE AREA (LPA) is developing East of MINDANAO, while its associated TROUGHS are bringing some light to at times moderate rains and thunderstorms across SOUTHERN TAGALOG, VISAYAS, SULU ARCHIPELAGO, including NORTHEASTERN and SOUTHERN MINDANAO.

The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES stays fine and dry with some cloud cover and the possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms particularly in the afternoon or late evening hours.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms within the mentioned weather systems.
