SOUTHWESTERLIES (SOUTHWESTERLY SURFACE WINDFLOW) will still bring mostly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered to occasional rain showers and thunderstorms across THE COASTAL AREAS OF WESTERN LUZON including BATANES AND BABUYAN GROUP OF ISLANDS, LUBANG ISLAND, AND SCARBOROUGH (PANATAG) SHOAL.

SURFACE TROUGH is affecting BICOL REGION, SOUTHERN QUEZON, VISAYAS, SULU ARCHIPELAGO, AND MINDANAO, where partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be expected.

Meanwhile, TROPICAL DISTURBANCE 97W (LPA) over the North Philippine Sea has dissipated.

The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
