SOUTHWEST MONSOON (HABAGAT) continues to prevail induced by another newly developed system, LPA 95W (Outside PAR), about 434 km WNW of Basco, Batanes (21.2N 117.8E), is affecting EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON and WESTERN LUZON including METRO MANILA, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA and NORTHERN VISAYAS. Mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies with occasionally light to moderate to at times heavy rain showers and thunderstorms. Winds will be fresh to strong breeze of 30 to 50 kph, making the seas moderate to rough (2 to 4 meters) and risky for small and medium-sized sea vessels.
Meanwhile, The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
