SOUTHWEST MONSOON (HABAGAT) now being enhanced by another system, LPA 90W (outside PAR), about 435 km WNW of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte (16.5N 116.7E), is affecting EXTREME NORTHERN LUZON and WESTERN LUZON including METRO MANILA, CALABARZON, and MINDORO. Mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies with occasionally light to moderate to at times heavy rain showers and thunderstorms. Winds will be fresh to strong breeze of 30 to 50 kph, making the seas moderate to rough (2 to 4 meters) and risky for small and medium-sized sea vessels.
Meanwhile, The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will clear to mostly cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
