SOUTHWEST MONSOON (HABAGAT) will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies with occasionally light to moderate to at times heavy rain showers and thunderstorms across the WESTERN SECTIONS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN LUZON, METRO MANILA, MIMAROPA, KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP, SULU ARCHIPELAGO, WESTERN VISAYAS, AND ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA. Winds of 30 to 50 kph (fresh to strong breeze) will blow across these areas, making the seas moderate to rough (2 to 4 meters) and risky for small and medium-sized sea vessels.
Meanwhile, the REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
