WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 12pm February 23 until 12pm February 24, 2018

NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) will bring cool windy conditions & partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies with isolated light scattered rain showers or thunderstorms over EXTREME NORTHERN & NORTHERN LUZON. Fresh breeze to Strong breeze of 35 to 45 kph with significant wave heights of 2.5 to 4.0 m (Moderate to Rough) are expected to prevail across the mentioned areas making the seas risky for small & medium-sized sea vessels.

Meanwhile, TROUGH of TROPICAL DISTURBANCE (LPA) 95W will bring mostly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light to at times moderate scattered rain showers or thunderstorms over EASTERN MINDANAO.

The rest of the country will experience clear skies to partly cloudy conditions with the possibility of isolated showers or thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
