NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) and the prevailing NORTHEASTERLIES continues to bring cool and blustery wind conditions, partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies with occasionally light to at times moderate rain showers across EXTREME NORTHERN, NORTHERN, & EASTERN LUZON; BICOL REGION; & KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP (KIG). The winds will be moderate to near gale force (35 to 55kph), with moderate to rough seas (2.0 to 5.5 meters) and is dangerous to all types of sea vessels to navigate on.
In the meantime, the TROUGH of TROPICAL DISTURBANCE (LPA) 94W is affecting EASTERN VISAYAS, & NORTHERN MINDANAO where mostly cloudy periods and light to moderate rain showers or thunderstorms can be expected. The system has a (LOW) <35% Chance of becoming a significant tropical cyclone within the next 24 hours.
The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have clear to overcast skies with the possibility of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms developing later.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
