WeatherPhilippines Daily Graphical Satellite Analysis from 12pm Aug 14 until 12pm Aug 15, 2018

Moderate to strong SOUTHWEST MONSOON (HABAGAT) enhanced by TS BEBINCA, LPA 98W, and STS LEEPI will continue to prevail across LUZON including BATANES GROUP, METRO MANILA, BICOL REGION, MIMAROPA, SCARBOROUGH (PANATAG) SHOAL, KALAYAAN ISLAND GROUP, AND NORTHERN SULU ARCHIPELAGO. Partly cloudy to cloudy (overcast) skies with scattered to occasional rain showers and thunderstorms will be expected, becoming more frequent along the western parts of Luzom. The winds will be fresh breeze to gale (35 to 70 km/hr), making the seas moderate to very rough (2.0 to 7.0 meters) and dangerous to all sea crafts to navigate on.

The REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have clear to mostly cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in some areas especially in the afternoon or evening.

**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES OR LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms.
