|Current Status and Outlook||KONG-REY has rapidly intensified into a Typhoon (TY) as it tracks northwestward slowly during the past 6 hours…will enter the eastern border of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by tomorrow, Monday afternoon (Oct 01).
TY KONG-REY is forecast to continue tracking northwestward for the next 24 hrs and will continue to gain strength while over the North Philippine Sea.
