|Current Status and Outlook||Typhoon (TY) KONG-REY (QUEENIE) rapidly intensified overnight and becomes the sixth Super Typhoon of the 2018 Season as it continues to barrel into the North Philippine Sea.
This Typhoon is not expected to affect any part of the Philippines based in the current WPF Forecast.
STY KONG-REY is expected to continue moving northwestward across the southern part of the North Philippine Sea through the next 24 hrs while weakening slightly by Wednesday afternoon (Oct 03).
