|Current Status and Outlook||Tropical Depression (TD) 03W struggling to organize as it continues to move generally westward closer to the Republic of Palau…expected to enter the southeastern border of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by tomorrow morning (Sunday). It is possible that this system could weaken into a Tropical Disturbance (LPA) after entering PAR and while over the South Philippine Sea by late Sunday or Monday (Mar 18).
This TD is still far to directly affect any part of the country within the next 2 to 3 days.
|Where is 03W?||As of 5:00 PM PhT today, March 16…0900 GMT. The center was located along the southern sections of Western Micronesia [near 7.6°N 138.2°E], about 412 km east of Koror, Palau or 1,297 km east of Cateel, Davao Oriental.|
