The combined effects of Severe Tropical Storm KALMAEGI (RAMON), its Trough and the prevailing Northeasterlies (Weak AMIHAN) will bring moderate to extreme rainfall (30 to more than 100 mm) across Batanes – Babuyan Island Group, Ilocos Norte, Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora & Nva. Vizcaya – Today through Monday evening (November 18). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGE, RED & VIOLET Rain Alert have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides. Elsewhere, the Severe Weather Warning has been lowered.
