Rain Alert Update No. 10 (As of 1:10 PM Fri December 22, 2017)

The combined effects of TROPICAL STORM TEMBIN (VINTA) and the prevailing surge of NORTHEAST MONSOON (AMIHAN) will bring moderate to extreme rainfall (30 to more than 100 mm) across Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, Samar, Biliran Is., Leyte, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Masbate, Ticao Is., Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Iloilo, Guimaras & Negros Is., Cebu, Siquijor Is., Bohol, Camiguin Is., Misamis Occidental & Misamis Oriental, Zamboanga Del Norte & Zamboanga Del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, Lanao Del Norte & Lanao Del Sur, Bukidnon, Agusan Del Norte, Surigao Del Norte, Dinagat & Siargao Is., Surigao Del Sur, Davao Oriental and Palawan including the Kalayaan Is. Group (KIG) today through Saturday afternoon (December 23). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGE, RED, and VIOLET Rain Alerts (Severe Weather Warnings) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides. Elsewhere, the weather should improve already as the Rain Alerts have now been lowered.
