Rain Alert Update No. 10 (As of 4:15 PM Tue July 17, 2018)

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to bring moderate to extreme rainfall (30 to more than 100 mm) over Babuyan Island Group (BIG), Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Benguet, Apayao, KalingaIfugao, Mountain Province, Nva. Vizcaya, Nva. Ecija, Pangasinan, Zambales, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bataan, Bulacan, Metropolitan Manila, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Lubang Island, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Northern PalawanCabulauan & Cuyo Island Group, Romblon; Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Iloilo, Guimaras and Northern Negros Occidental today through Wednesday late afternoon (July 18). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGE, RED, VIOLET Rain Alerts (Severe Weather Warnings)have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.
