Rain Alert Update No. 07 (As of 3:10 PM Fri Jan 25, 2019)

The cold surge of Northeast Monsoon (AMIHAN) dips further to the South, now reaching for Northern Mindanao, bringing moderate rainfall (30 to  50 mm) across Eastern Samar, Homonhon Island, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Bohol, Siquijor Island, Camiguin Island, Dinagat Island,  Siargao Island, Misamis Occidental, Lanao Del Norte, Lanao Del Sur, Misamis Oriental, Bukidnon, Agusan Del Sur, Agusan Del Norte, Surigao Del Norte & Surigao Del Sur – Today through Saturday afternoon (January 26). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGE Rain Alert (Severe Weather Warning) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides. Elsewhere, the Severe Weather Warning has already been lowered.
