Rain Alert Update No. 06 (As of 11:35 PM Sep 14, 2019)

The combined effects of the Trough of Tropical Disturbance (LPA) MARILYN and the Southwest Monsoon (HABAGAT) will bring moderate to heavy rainfall (30 to 100 mm) across La Union, Pangasinan, Benguet, Ifugao, NvaVizcaya, Quirino, NvaEcija, Aurora, Tarlac, Zambales, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Metropolitan Manila, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Northern Samar, Albay, Sorsogon, Burias Island, Ticao IslandLubang Island, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Calamian Group, Group of Coron Island, Quiniluban Group, Cuyo Island, Cagayancillo Island, Semirara Island, Boracay Island, Romblon, Aklan, AntiqueCapiz, IloiloGuimaras Island, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental & Kalayaan Island Group – Today through Sunday evening (September 15). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGE RED Rain Alert (Severe Weather Warning) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides. Elsewhere, the Severe Weather Warning has now been lowered.
