The combined effects of Southwest Monsoon (HABAGAT) and Monsoon Trough will bring moderate to heavy rainfall (30 to 100 mm) over Pangasinan, Zambales, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bataan, Lubang Island, Western Mountain Province, Western Ifugao, Nueva Vizcaya, Southern Qurino, Aurora (except Casiguran Area), Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Benguet, Southern La Union, Western Cavite, Western Batangas, Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Island, and Northwestern Oriental Mindoro – today through Saturday early evening (July 14). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGE and RED Rain Alerts (Severe Weather Warnings) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.
