Rain Alert Update No. 05 (As of 6:35 PM Nov 09, 2019)

The thick rain bands associated with the Trough of Typhoon NAKRI (QUIEL) and the prevailing Northeast Monsoon (AMIHAN) is bringing moderate to extreme rainfall (30 to more than 100 mm) across Cagayan, Isabela, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos SurApayao, Abra, Kalinga, La Union, Benguet, Pangasinan, Nva. VizcayaAurora, Quirino, Quezon, Polilio Island & Camarines Norte  – Today through Sunday evening (November 10). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGE, RED & VIOLET (Severe Weather Warning) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides. Elsewhere, the Severe Weather Warning has been lowered.
