The Southwest Monsoon (HABAGAT) and Westerlies (Westerly surface windflow) will bring moderate to extreme rainfall (30 to more than 100 mm) over Western Bulacan, Metro Manila, Western Rizal, Western Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Quezon, Western Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Burias Island, Romblon, Marinduque, Northern Palawan, Antique, Western Iloilo, Western Aklan, Western Capiz, Guimaras, Western Negros Province, Sultan Kudarat, South Cotabato, Sarangani, Davao Occidental, Southern Davao del Sur, Calamian Group of Islands, Western Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Western Tarlac, Western Pampanga, & Occidental & Oriental Mindoro today through Friday morning (July 13). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGE, RED, & VIOLET Rain Alerts (Severe Weather Warnings) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.
