The shattered rainbands of Tropical Depression 33W (SAMUEL) is bringing moderate to extreme rainfall (30 to more than 100 mm) across Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, Polilio Island, Rizal, Laguna, Batangas, Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Romblon Island, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Calamian-Cabulauan–Quiniluban Group, Cuyo Islands, Cagayancillo Islands, Semirara Island, Antique, Aklan, Iloilo, Capiz, Guimaras, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, Zamboanga Del Norte, Palawan, including the Kalayaan Island Group (KIG) – Today through Thursday morning (November 22). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGE, RED, & VIOLET Rain Alert (Severe Weather Warning) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides. Elsewhere, the Rain Alert (Severe Weather Warning) have now been lowered.
