Rain Alert Update No. 03 (As of 12:00 PM Sat June 09, 2018)

The Southwest Monsoon (HABAGAT) enhanced by Tropical Storm MALIKSI (DOMENG) is surging along the West Philippine Sea and is bringing moderate to extreme rainfall (30 to more than 100 mm) across Cagayan, Apayao, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Abra, Benguet, La Union, Kalinga, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Nva. Vizcaya, Nva. Ecija, Pangasinan, Zambales, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Bataan, Metropolitan Manila, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, Rizal, Aurora, Quezon; Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon; Lubang Island, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon; Calamian Group, Quiniluban Group, Cuyo & Cagayancillo Island; Aklan, Antique, Iloilo, Guimaras Island, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental; Palawan including the Kalayaan Island Group (KIG) today through Sunday afternoon (June 10). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGEREDand VIOLET Rain Alerts (Severe Weather Warnings) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.
