Rain Alert Update No. 01 (As of 8:50 PM Thu Dec 27, 2018)

The sheared rainbands of Tropical Depression 35W (USMAN) is bringing moderate to extreme rainfall (30 to  more than 100 mm) across Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Nva. Ecija, Quezon, Polilio Island, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Marinduque, Romblon Island, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Ticao & Sibuyan Islands, Northern Samar, Samar, Eastern Samar, Burias Island, Masbate, Antique, Aklan, Capiz, Iloilo, Guimaras Island, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, Cebu, Bohol, Biliran Island, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Camotes & Dinagat Islands  Today through Friday evening (December 28). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGERED, VIOLET Rain Alert (Severe Weather Warning) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.
