The combined effects of the Northeast Monsoon (AMIHAN) and the broad circulation of Tropical Depression QUIEL (90W) will bring moderate to heavy rainfall (30 to 100 mm) across Batanes Island Group, Babuyan & Calayan Island Group, Cagayan, Isabela, Ilocos Norte, Apayao, La Union, Benguet, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Bicol Region, Lubang Island, Occidental Mindoro, Romblon, Semirara Island, Calamian Group, Calamian Group, Cabulauan Island, Quiniluban Group, Cuyo Island, Cagayancillo Island, Kalayaan Island Group (KIG), Palawan, Aklan, Antique, Iloilo, Guimaras Island, Negros Occidental, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur & Zamboanga Sibugay – Today through Wednesday afternoon (November 06). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGE & RED Rain Alert (Severe Weather Warning) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.
