The combined effects of Typhoon Yutu (ROSITA) and the prevailing surge of the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) is bringing moderate to extreme rainfall (30 to more than 100 mm) across Calayan and Babuyan Island Group, Cagayan, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Apayao, Abra, Kalinga, Mt. Province, Isabela, Ifugao, Benguet, Nva. Vizcaya, Nva. Ecija, Quirino, Aurora, Quezon, Polilio Island, Pangasinan, Zambales, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan and Rizal – Today through Tuesday morning (October 30). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces.Hence, the ORANGE, RED, & VIOLET (Severe Weather Warnings) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.
