The enhanced Southwest Monsoon (HABAGAT) will bring moderate to heavy rainfall (30 to 100 mm) over Southern Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro, Calamian Group of Islands, Kalayaan Group of Islands, Northern Palawan, Cuyo Island, Antique, Romblon, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Northern Ticao Island, Burias Island, Sorsogon, Albay, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Catanduanes, Quezon, Polilio Island, Metro Manila, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Bulacan, Pampanga, Northern Zambales, Pampanga, Tarlac, Southern and Western Nueva Ecija, Pangasinan, La Union, Ilocos Norte, Abra, Benguet, Western Mt. Province, Western Kalinga, & Southern Apayao today through Tuesday morning (July 10). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGE and RED Rain Alerts (Severe Weather Warnings) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.
