Rain Alert Update [Final] (As of 11:15 AM Tue Feb 21, 2017)

The broad and thick rain bands associated with the Easterlies (Easterly Trade Winds) has already receded and gradually dissipated, and is no longer expected to bring rains over Southern Eastern Samar, Eastern Leyte, Eastern Southern Leyte, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and Northeastern Davao Oriental. Hence, the ORANGE Rain Alerts (Severe Weather Warnings) previously hoisted across these areas have now been lifted.
