Rain Alert Update (As of 03:24 PM Wed Oct 19, 2016)

The broad and thick rain bands of Super Typhoon HAIMA (LAWIN) will bring moderate, heavy to extreme rains across Central Luzon, and much of Northern and Extreme Northern Luzon today (in most areas beginning tonight) through Thursday morning (Oct 20). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of this affected province. Hence, the VIOLET, RED and ORANGE Rain Alerts (Severe Weather Warnings) are/remain hoisted along these areas.

Rain or Wind Alert update will be automatically terminated if the weather system is no longer expected to bring more severe weather conditions.

WeatherPhilippines has upgraded its features with a current warning menu. Within this menu there are wind and rain warnings. These warnings will give you color coded alerts depending on its severity. This will show you an overview of the entire Philippine map and quickly determine weather warning alerts. This feature is currently available and ready for use. Below is the Weather Severity Matrix.
