Group, Palau Is., Cagayan, Apayao, Kalinga, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Abra, Pangasinan, Nva. Ecija, Nva. Vizcaya, Zambales, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Bataan, Corregidor Is., Metropolitan Manila, Rizal, Laguna, Quezon, Camarines Sur, Cavite, Batangas, Maricaban Is., Verde Is., Lubang Is., Occidental Mindoro, Ambulong Is., Semirara Is., Romblon, Carabao Is., Boracay Is., Panay Is., Guimaras Is., Negros Is., Masbate Is., Jintotolo Is., Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Homonhon Is., Leyte, Leyte, Camotes Is., Bantayan & Daanbantayan Is., Cebu, Bohol, Cuyo Is., Cagayancillo Is., Dumaran Is., Palawan, Kalayaan Is. Grp. (KIG), Dinagat & Siargao Is., Agusan Del Sur, Surigao Del Sur, Agusan Del Norte, Camiguin Is., Misamis Oriental, Lanao Del Norte, Lanao Del Sur, Misamis Occidental, Zamboanga Del Norte, Cotabato, Maguindanao, Sultan Kudarat, South Cotabato, Sarangani, Davao Occidental and Sarangani Is. today through Thursday afternoon (August 24). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGE Rain Alert (Severe Weather Warning) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.
