The combined effects of the Ex-Tropical Disturbance 90W (LPA) and its Trough and Weak Low Pressure Area (LPA) and its Trough (East of Davao Region) will bring moderate to heavy rains across Eastern Visayas, Eastern Leyte, Southern Leyte, Northern Cebu, Northern Negros Occidental, Siquijor, Southern Bohol, Camiguin, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Agusan del Norte, Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Southern and Central Palawan today through Saturday afternoon (Mar 11). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGE and RED Rain Alerts (Severe Weather Warnings) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.
