The Rainbands associated with the LPA [Ex-TROPICAL DEPRESSION 02W (CRISING)] and its TROUGH will bring moderate to at times heavy rains across Occidental and Oriental Mindoro, Semirara Is., Southern Tablas Is., Carabao and Boracay Is., Northern parts of Antique, including Aurora, Eastern parts of Nueva Ecija, Eastern and Southern parts of Bulacan, Rizal, Quezon, National Capital Region (NCR), Southern Pampanga, Southern Zambales, Bataan, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Lubang Is., Rest of Occidental and Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Burias Is., Eastern and Southern Camarines Sur, Western and Southern Albay, Western and Southern Sorsogon, Ticao Is., Western parts of Northern Samar, Southern and Eastern parts of Samar, Northern Biliran Is., Northern Homonhon Is., Bantayan Is., Northern and Western sections of Cebu Is., Negros Occidental, Northern and Eastern Negros Oriental, Rest of Panay and Guimaras Is., Cuyo Is. Group, Calamian Is. Group, Coron Is. Group and the Northernmost tip of Palawan today through Monday morning (Apr 17). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the RED and ORANGE Rain Alert (Severe Weather Warning) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.
