Rain Alert Update #002 (As of 9:00 PM Tue September 05, 2017)

The thick rain bands associated with TROPICAL DISTURBANCE (LPA) 19W [KIKO] and its TROUGH will continue to bring Moderate, Heavy to Extreme Rainfall (30 to more than 100 mm) across Ilocos Norte, Northern Ilocos Sur, Northern Apayao, Northwestern Cagayan, Western Abra, and Babuyan Group of Islands – today through Wednesday evening (September 06). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGE, RED, and VIOLET Rain Alerts (Severe Weather Warnings) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.

Meanwhile, Rain Alerts previously hoisted are now lifted.
