The thick rainbands associated with TROPICAL DISTURBANCE (LPA) 95W are expected to bring Moderate to Heavy Rains (30 to 100 mm) across CAGAYAN, ISABELA, AURORA, NORTHERN PART OF NORTHERN QUEZON, QUIRINO, APAYAO, KALINGA, ABRA, ILOCOS SUR, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE, IFUGAO, NUEVA VIZCAYA, NUEVA ECIJA, BULACAN, CENTRAL & NORTHERN BATAAN, CENTRAL & SOUTHEASTERN ZAMBALES, TARLAC, PAMPANGA, CENTRAL & EASTERN PANGASINAN, LA UNION, AND BENGUET – today through Monday afternoon (October 09). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGE & RED Rain Alerts (Severe Weather Warnings) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.
