The Rainbands associated with TROPICAL DEPRESSION 02W (CRISING) and its TROUGH will bring moderate to at times heavy rains across Northernmost Iloilo, Balbagon Is., North and South Gigantes Is., Tulunanaun Is., Binuluangan and Calagnaan Is., Sicogon Is., Daram Is., Western and Southern Samar, Southern parts of Eastern Samar, Manicani Is., Balinatio and Tubabao Is., Eastern Leyte, Botic, Suluan and Homonhon Is., Eastern parts of Occidental and Oriental Mindoro, Maestro De Ocampo, Carlota, Dos Hermanos and Isabel Is., Banton, Semira, Cobrador and Alad Is., Northern, Eastern and Southern parts of Sibuyan Is., Cresta De Gallo Is., Northern and Eastern Aklan, Northern, Eastern and Southern portions of Capiz, Rest of Northern Iloilo, Pan De Azucar Is., Tago, Malangaban and Igbon Is., Northernmost Negros Occidental, Baliguian, Bantayan, Guintacan Is., Doong, Lipayan and Molocaboc Is., Northernmost Cebu, Western and Central parts of Leyte, Hibusan is., Dinagat and Siargao Is., Anajauan, Casulion and Mamon Is., including Hinatuan Is., Northernmost Surigao Del Norte, General Is., Northern, Central and Eastern parts of Surigao Del Sur, Central and Southern Agusan Del Norte, Central Agusan Del Sur and Northern Bukidnon tonight through Sunday evening (Apr 16). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the RED and ORANGE Rain Alert (Severe Weather Warning) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.
