Rain Alert Update #001 (As of 11:45 AM Wed Mar 22, 2017)

The warm Easterlies (Easterly Trade Winds) are blowing across the Northernmost regions of Luzon including Extreme Northern Luzon bringing occasionally light to at times moderate rains and thunderstorms over the Northernmost tip of Isabela, Northern, Eastern and Western portions of Cagayan, Northeasternmost reaches of Apayao, Calayan and Babuyan Island Group, in particular over the Batanes Island Group today through Thursday afternoon (Mar 23). The rains will be more frequent along the coastal and mountain slope areas of these affected provinces. Hence, the ORANGE Rain Alert (Severe Weather Warning) have been hoisted along these areas. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.
